Things to do in Turks and Caicos

There's never any shortage of things to do in Turks and Caicos. These islands, located just a short flight away from Miami, are a natural paradise that appeals to incurable romantics, intrepid explorers, and families with children.

Here's a list of just some of the things to do in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Enjoy pristine, secluded beaches

The Turks and Caicos are famous for perfect beaches, spectacular views, and a perfect combination of seclusion and sophistication thanks to classic Caribbean Plantation-style resorts. Sit beneath the shade of a palm tree and enjoy the magnificent tableau of sugary white sand, azure ocean and deep blue sky by day, and fiery sunsets and romantic moonlight by night.

Dive one of the world's longest coral reefs

The Turks and Caicos are home to one of the longest coral reefs in the world - it's over 200 kilometers long, and is a prime spot to witness humpback whale migrations. With underwater visibility exceeding 100 feet in most locations, the coral reefs, sea mounts and sea walls that surround the islands are perfect for encountering schools of pompano, sea turtles, eagle rays and sharks.

Grace Bay is considered to be a great place for beginning divers. The water is warm, shallow, and tranquil.

Go windsurfing and sailing, or take a private cruise

The Turks and Caicos are a paddlesports paradise. It's easy to rent equipment on the islands, especially when staying at a resort. Besides windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding is becoming a popular activity, as well as kiteboarding and kayaking.

It's also possible to arrange a private cruise to one of the many islands and cays that make up the Turks and Caicos archipelago.

Tee off on one the top ten golf courses in the Caribbean

Turks and Caicos golfing vacations are a great way to combine relaxation with playing golf on a championship course. 18-hole golf courses blend in naturally with natural limestone outcroppings and beautiful tropical foliage, including orchids, frangipani, bougainvillea, and oleander. Try some golf-oriented shopping therapy at the clubhouse, and finish up your day with a drink followed by dinner on a terrace overlooking the golf course and the setting Caribbean sun.

Relax at Amazing Grace

While there are a lot of things to do in the Turks and Caicos Islands, many visitors find all they need while staying at Amazing Grace. Just steps from beach, guests can choose to bask in the sun by a free-form swimming pool, cooled by the gentle breezes of the trade winds under the shade of their own private palm tree...
